I need to know how to take off a code so I can put in a different one. can someone help me out ? I'm tring to get my other comp. running for my son so he can play but we both have the same key so I uninstalled it off of one comp. And installed it again but it did not ask for the new cd key soo i'm back at square one.

theres a program you can use that will work with multiple cd keys. ill upload it for you. it will do everything. you can store all your cd keys there and you can change them whenever you want. its good for me and my brother cause when we need to reinstall we just use the program and it automatically sets the registry for it. here ill link ya the program. just download it and put it whereever you like

Does the cd key changer also affect you'r wonid? If so, what if you happen to have the same one as someone else?

no it doesnt affect your wonid anyway. at least i dont think. the reason why i have it is because me and my bro needed an easy way to change cdkeys. this is the quickest way i found to do it.

With a different CD key installed you will now use a new WONID that is associated with that CD key.

oh i didnt know that. all i know is the reason i have it is because me and my bro used to share a copy of hl and then we got another copy and we couldnt figure out how to change the cdkey. so i downloaded that.
