Hi guys,
I can start drivers ed in around 2 months! WOOHOO!! the thing is, im looking at a Toyota Celica as my first car....but i read some reviews about it and there were 2 things that caught my attention as weakness.
1) they said it weather stripped really bad at around 70 mph.
2) also said large blind spots/hard to see out the rear view mirror.
If anyone knows someone who has one/own one yourself, can ya please help me? Thanks!!
Oh and i just changed my account from BlackHawk_REG_1 |

Are you talking about the new ones. I wish I had gotten a new car when I started driving. I don't know about the weather stripping. Knowing Toyota's excellent history in car quality and good customer services, I would highly suspect this being true. It may have been true for a few owners even Honda has 3-4 lemons out 12 million a year. So not every car is going to be perfect and weather stripping is easy and cheap to replace. As far as the blind spots. All cars have them, but small cars like the Celica usually have the worst blind spots, since they are lower to the ground and have smaller windows. I would suggest test driving the car first and see for yourself.
In all seriousness, this being your first car and all, I would highly suggest you look for a car that is going to be more safer. You are pretty much destined to have a few wrecks being a new inexperienced driver. Something cheap, would be good to so it will not cost to much to replace or fix when you do get in a wreck.
And finally please stay in Dallas, do not cross into Tarrant County, I like to keep my car dent free. |

Yikes!
Seeing how you are so close. . I'll go ahead and turn my air bag back on. . .
Just remember, in Texas, it's lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way!
Good luck with driver's ed. _________________ Recipient of POTM award
