I use the same product that stutter just linked. It works great once you get it set up. And there isn't much to doing that. _________________

I have panicware's popup blocker as well, and it works, but I've noticed a problem. It blocks nearly everything, but some ads still get through. That's not the bad part though, the problem is that it seems to think AIM is a popup, so I have to turn it off if I want to turn on AIM. I use netscape navigator now, and with 7.1 comes a popup blocker that blocks only uninvited ads. It seems to work pretty good, so if you don't mind switching browsers, I would say there you go. _________________ Under construction!!! |

These pop-ups are diffrent, and the links posted won't work against them. There was a way to block these in-game popups (coming from MSN usually), but I don't remember it. It was posted here though. _________________ PJ --- ancient IDIOT with a rusty CROWBAR....

The messenger thing that's installed with windows does that. You can fix it like this:
Go to Run under your start menu,
Type "services.msc /s" without the quotes and press ok,
Scroll down and find "Messenger" and right click and choose properties,
Find "Startup type" and change it to "Disabled",
Click Ok and on your next startup, they should be gone.
I hope this helps. _________________

So, Panicware is good. It recognizes that AOL is a bad thing, and blocks anything from them. _________________

Question: if you use Trillan, do you get these popups from MSN? _________________ PJ --- ancient IDIOT with a rusty CROWBAR....
