I think the regs and admins do a great job at spotting/reporting/taking care of cheaters. But unfortunately we all cant be everywhere at once. I think anti-cheat software would help maybe a little but it probably wont solve the problem.

That is just pathetic...ppl were talking about hacking as if it was nothing...that they have no morals what so ever. I bet some of them could be little kids that think single player cheating is as moral as mutiplayer cheating... i HATE ppl like that. I would say yes for the anti cheat...tho that might slow some ppl down right? could the server handle anti cheat? Is there really that much of a need for it in the TFC servers? Maybe in dod and ns, but i dont really see any hacking in TFC when i play, cept for when this guy used an aimbot because he was pissed about being kicked from the server. I think the hackers moved on to CS and DOD (like they have been for the past 2 years). Ive seen more hackers in CS in one month that i have seen for the past 3 1/2 years in TFC.

I never really used to like cheat protection but recently some NS servers I play on started using CD and I really like it.

I know all 4 DoD servers are running VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) and TV8 uses CD (Cheating Death).

So other than just the admins there is some form of anti-cheat on most of the servers.

Yeah, The Ville does run anti-cheat so I'm not sure what this poll is about?

No matter how good the protection, no matter how plentiful the admins, you will always have cheating in every mod and every game. All we can do is keep enforcing the rules when people are caught. It's an uphill battle and more than likely will never be won.

These are still some of the cleanest servers on the planet in every aspect.

TFC is mostly scripted to the gills peeps now with Frankenstien configs. Not a whole lot of actual hacking going on. I mean, there is hacking, just not as much as DOD, NS, and CS.

I think the only hackers I have seen latley are. .hmm. . JD. . all h4x. . .Fragflailer. . . TimHorton's h4x . . . . Chen. . .hack-o-rama. . .kraut. . aimbot-0-the-week. . . warpig. . .aimbotopotomous. . . .patten. . knife h4x. . . .and myself currently running my own self written wrench h4x.

I dont want to start a huge debate on this but VAC at this point is useless.
