It doesn't surprise me. Politicians will, more often than not, use such means to hypnotise the electorate. Just like Bush is doing by "freeing" the rest of the world, shifting the focus away from the problems with his own country.

Our country has problems????? Well, I was never made aware of that. All I know is that I have mental issues and need to be locked away. According to your theory though, as long as Bush is in office, I'm perfectly safe.

On a more serious note, politicians are mainly made up of idiots who will do anything and everything for personal gain, whether it's good for the country or not. The people just get to choose which idiot they want to have the most power. I should run for president. Yeeeeesssssss, that would solve eeeeeeevrythiiiiiiing.

I always like how the other side tries to take the high-road. Like they don't plan some of the same strategies in their meetings.

But what is sad is that much of the American public believes what they read, and seems to have no common sense....
