ok i was on the internet as always and i stumbled across some beta pics of day of defeat. you guys should see these. its amazing to see how far dod has come.

and this last one shows how far the developers went to get the best sound possible.

just a neat little bit of dod nostalgia for ya guys.

That's pretty neat. I like the beta water better than the current though.

The people that worked on the dod team did an excellent job, especially on the models. While you don't see it in-game, the models of most everything have excellent animations. If you want, open up HLMV and take a look at some of them. They're amazing for a simple HL mod.

yup dod has come a long way since beta as most of you can tell. imagine going back and playing the beta after youve played the latest release.

oh wait back then the garand was actually a good gun..
