I was looking over my fried power supply when I noticed it was an "Auto Switching" unit.
WTF is that eh? My guess is that this self regulates the power output?
All the new ones I have been looking at are manual switch.
What is the benefit of having an Auto vs Manual? Is it really that big of a deal?

If it's what I'm thinking it is then all it does is regulate the input voltage to the power supply. So all you have to do is plug it in no matter where you are, you don't have to manually switch it for European voltage if you brought it from the USA. _________________
