A 60.8 KB/sec transfer rate.

Your upload speed : 63291 bps, or 63 kbps

I was surprised about the upload speed. My modem can actually go much faster, I have hit speeds of 1.8+ mbps download in the past (although it happened only once, I was able to download a 300 meg file in less than 4 minutes ).

Edit: maybe the fact that the server is in Cali has something to do with my slow speeds . |

I don't know about that Thewz I am in north carolina where I took the test.

Your DL speed rocks but your transfer rate sucks along with your upload speed. I am on cable and both of mine are

A 368.4 KB/sec transfer rate.

Your upload speed : 254452 bps, or 254 kbps.

Yes it's quite weird, but according to the website my isp is ranked #10 for speed rating (videotron.ca).

Maybe the fact that I've got 3 computers routed through the same modem could have something to do with it? But I don't know much about this stuff.

Edit: I tried the server in new jersey and this is what I got:

Your download speed : 1844472 bps, or 1844 kbps.

A 225.1 KB/sec transfer rate.

Your upload speed : 303030 bps, or 303 kbps.

Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!

W00t much better, must have been a bad hop.

Mine sucked, for cable. 802/290 97.9 transfer.

Didn't sign up to try an east coast server, so it could just be a bad hop. Plus I'm also splitting my connect through a router, and 1 other machine is online, so I'm splitting my b/w too. _________________
