This afternoon valve release an official server side patch for DoD. It updates the servers to dod 1.0b. Its only for servers so players have nothing to download.

Here are the documented changes :

June 10th 2003

changes:

- fixed mp_clan_restartround - enter 'mp_clan_restartround 1' while in clan mode to restart

- added mp_clan_readyrestart - enter 'mp_clan_readyrestart 1' - when someone from each team has said 'ready', the round will restart

- fixed cl_lw recoil exploit

- minor work to lessen server cpu usage in AddToFullPack

- fixed speed bug with zooming, sprint and stamina

- ducking in mid air no longer recovers stamina

- don't force any help messages if the user has '_ah 0'

- slowed sniper zoomed speed from 70 to 42

Sounds good! Also I been checking forums to see what other servers admins are saying so far.

There are reports of reduced client/server traffic, if true will reduce pings and updaterates/cmdrates. I also hope this helps some of us with choke, etc. Mainly server stuff except the exploit change and sniper speeds. We will keep an close eye on things to see how our servers respond to the new patch. You may also notice the server names have changed to 1.0b.
