Software mode = looks crappy

OpenGL = looks nice can't see through water very well

D3D = looks nice can see through water to other side of map _________________

From the menu:

Configuration->Video->Video Modes

Click OpenGL. Decide on a resolution. Decide on windowed/fullscreen.

Click Ok. Click Done. Click Done.

If you haven't already done this and have been playing in software

mode the whole time, I'd be a bit shocked. _________________

				DO NOT DO D3D, it causes massive amounts of choke. Use open gl instead. _________________ Usually my sig goes here, but who the hell needs one anyways. |

				D3D is a relic leftover from the age of Voodoo cards. Inferior to OpenGL which has become the new adopted default rendering setting for most everything needing rendering. _________________ World of Warcraft:

Microsoft, of course, would disagree (but I won't! ) _________________

Microsoft, of course, would disagree (but I won't! ) | I will But still, D3D support in Half-Life is very bad, it was designed as a backup back in the day. _________________ Regards, Guspaz. |
