Is it just me, or Caen is now boring as hell (though I heard that in hell there are plenty of beautiful women that are waiting for.... anyway I disgress  )? It used to be my favorite in 3.1, but now when I see this map, i'm like "oh damn, well ok <sigh>". I have often the impression that nothing is happening, that there is no atmosphere. I don't know if it's because the mortars (airstrikes) are less frequent and loud and dangerous than with 3.1, or because the brits weapons are not adapted to this map, but it's now a boring map for me.
On the other hand, I feel like Anzio really improved with 1.0. I like playing this map very much now. Having removed the stupid grenade bug has greatly improved gameplay in the middle (market), especially at the beginning of a round. And the various tunnels and corridors you can take to reach several key points makes it more varied.

I feel the same way about caen. They really didn't change much on it but, it just doesn't seem as fun to play anymore. Maybe we suffer from caen burnout, it's kinda like 2fort for TFC since it's been around since the first beta. Now flash and forest are my favs.
