I just installed NS and DoD today! I'll be trying them out for a while trying to learn the game and get used to it.

I'll see those of you who play these games soon!

It takes awhile to get used to NS. But once you do, you never go back

But DOD is like crack. You get addicted very quickly. The people there are very friendly and always helping out the new people to the game. I can't say if NS is the same way, I am not there.

In NS, there is too much stuff to do. Like someone told us to get to the vent or shipping or something like that and I have no idea what's going on. In DoD, there are simple objectives like capture points and people have time to help you out. I just needed simple things like what key do I press to do this, but in NS, someone would have to explain everything. I like simple, straight forward stuff, and other people may like games where you have to think a lot.

Actually it can be rather simple, but you must have had a commander that does not like to give waypoints. He can drop these to show you where you need to go

Is that what those annoying things that were floating around the walls were? Am I supposed to go to those?

DoD advice: always try to aim for the head, especially if you want to live through a face to face encounter.

How can you aim anywhere in DoD? The gun kick is so crazy you have an equal chance of hitting someone in a dark room with the big machine gun unmounted, as in the light....I know, I actually had it happen. 2 guys ran into a dark room after me, I couldnt see anything and I just shot wildly and spun all around and after a couple seconds they died....I got the same result in teh open. The only accurate weapons are the sniper rifle in scope mode, and machine gun mounted, everything else is point and pray.
