|
|
Last month was a better than normal month for ad clicks. Let's try and make May better. Here's a current list of ad banners than are "good" to click.
GetSmart
U.S. Navy
Fibroid Study
HealthandAge.com
LendingTree
Curadebt
2003 Telus World Ski/Snowboard Fest
Also.. You may see a crucial.com ad pop up every so often. Only click it if actually wanna by memory.
Thanks for the support....... _________________

Question.
What technically defines a paying "click"? Is it literally how many times the link is clicked, causing the browser to go to that website? If so, could you click on the link, press the back button, click the link again infinetely to get a huge number of "clicks"? Or is it only one click loading of the page the ad banner is on? So if I were on General Ramblings, I clicked the link, pressed back, reloaded General Ramblings, then clicked the banner again, would that class as multiple "clicks"?
This whole ad banner thing seemed kind of ambigous to me. How exactly does it work? _________________

It's one click per ad per IP address per day. _________________

Are they still doing that? I thought that they stopped just plain clicks back in '98.
I made so much money from that. _________________

What if we don't have a static IP? I have an effectively static IP, as I'm sure most people on the Ville do, but what if we used a dialup connection or something like that? Could a person connect, click the banner, then disconnect, reconnect, and click again to get another paying "click"?
I know that question sounds silly, but I'm not asking semantically. I have an actual interest in the mechanics of these ad banners.

Usually dead, you just figured out how I made $3K the easy way.
Back in '98 I had a macro log me on and click through the banners then log me off then relog on with another ip and then click and log me off all during the night. Nice bit of code if I do say so myself. _________________

Dynamic is the varible IP such as dial up and most cable and dls when connection is reset. Static is like theville.org IP never changes.
So bros reset your connect and click it _________________ P4E @ 4.00 Ghz, LeadTech 6800GT 420mhz/1.16Ghz, 1 gb Corsair PC 4400, Creative X-fi, Raptor

Giz has a good point, someone should answer his question. The ad banner for the US Navy and uterine fibriods come from two different orginizations, right? So if I click the fibriods one, then wait around for the US Navy and click that, does that mean Rob gets two paying clicks from me that day? _________________
