Well every time I had the text and speech part come up when my team or the enemy team capped I would get the worst laggg spikes Solution explore sierra/half life/tfc/sound then find a file called sentences and delete that part of the file laggg gone Added and tested a few more shorter phrases and they work great:

I don't think it will do much to the game. All he did was taken out some of the words so it wouldn't take so much to say it. Instead of it saying "Command point one secured" it will say "point one secured". You could just make a backup of your sentences file and if it messes anything up, just put it back. I think the worst thing that can happen is the voice will stop at whatever is messed up. _________________

Yep good idea I always copy a zip of the file I plan on changing before hand that way if you don't like it you can just copy it back the way it was _________________

That's exactly what I do. If i'm going to do something like try out some new models and stuff, I put everything in folders so it matches the directory structure of the files in the game folder, then I put it all in a zip file. If I don't like any of it, I can just extract it to the game folder and it just replaces all the files and I'm back to normal . _________________
