You know the media is partially to blame for stuff like this, they keep covering it and giving others Ideas. When i was a kid the only violence you had to worry about at school were gang members but you knew who they were and to stay away from them, now you never know where its gonna come from

I agree that the media makes the problem worse. It seems like parents have less and less control over their kids these days. If I had thought about anything like that when I was a kid my dad would have tanned my hide. Back then you didn't have to even do anything. My dad always knew when I was thinking about getting in trouble and got me first.

Sad and sickening.

Now just watch. Some bleeding heart ultra-lib will make the case against online gaming , etc. as the root cause for this...... #Fist

Until someone makes a game where you prowl around a school shooting kids I'll never believe that. At least at my age online games are a great way to relieve the everyday stress we all go through.

1.WHY did he shoot that person? The only reason to shoot somebody is to defend your life or somebody elses.
2.Why a crossbow? How in-effective is that? This was not well thought out it seems the little child was pissed of and went in thug style like an idiot. I meen he walked straight into the school and tried to LIGHT a petrol bomb. He wasn't thinking he was just acting on emotions. "Well im pissed of dat ho she dissed me I tink im gonna go shoot dat hata" Maybe thats what's going on in his mind it seems like it to me.

Also to Mr.Hero im glad that you did what you did but next time anybody is in a school that appears to be lighting a bomb RUN RUN RUN like you've never run before. Don't try and be a hero even though this guy got lucky.

People do that because their parents could care less about them. They're not taken care of, they're shunned for most of their life, and probably don't know what love is. Then one day it all overflows and comes out in the open in a fit of rage. It seems almost like suicide, but they hurt other people instead of themselves, or both.

I am sorry, but I think that the game deer hunter is at the heart of this matter.

BTW, notice that crossbows are illegal in their country? If he was here in the US, he would have definately used a gun.

Hmm... Everyone balmes the media for this stuff... Its not xactly right. Its just scape goating the media. Movies, games, etc are RATED now and when parents dont look at those ratings they arent exactly doing their job either. The media is rated for a reason - unfortunatly some partents dont look at the ratings, such as the rating on Vice City. Buy the item for their kids and then when they see whats going on in the game they are horrified when really the game is rated A, or the movie is rated R... ITS RATED THAT FOR A RESON. Scape goating the media is also wrong because its how you PERSEVE what you see. If you think... Oh well bowling for columbine was great! I wanna go shoot some kids at my school! Then you defiatly need help...

Anyways, scape goating the media, and other areas is wrong. I believe that the parents of the kids should be balmed - they should have been more aware of whats going on...

Blame the kid that did it. He knew what he was doing and what would happen. Don't try to blame it on other things, they didn't make him do it.

Yes, of course he knew darn well what he was doing. But you can almost always trace the entire problem back to the parents. The kids that do this, are most likely the ones that have parents that could care about a can of beans more than they can thier own child.
