DOD is a great game reminds me of saving private ryan which has the memorable beach battle scene.Thats exactly what overlord is i think its a bad ass map but thats my opinion its hard for the allies but hell just have a limit on snipers and machine gunners and there will still be chalenge but hell it will be bad ass and loads of fun its great to win but sometimes there is better wins when just playing

Speaking of spawn camping. I have heard that their are overview maps for the maps played on TV4. Where can I find these. Specifically anzio's.

If you thought Anzio was bad BRN overlord is four hundred billion times worse. If you are on allies every time you get out of the boat PLINK(sound of head shot) its miserable

yea, its a good map but its too easy to spawn camp and then the allies all are snipers and lay on the beach and its just not that fun without two good teams.

Powder just stick to TV4, and let overlord go to TV2.

BTW, TV2 is still not affecting the website stats.

I do admit that overlord can be spawn camper paradise, but I still think that it would be better than having an empty tv2. I think TV4 should stick to avalanche, caen2 and anzio, and TV2 should have overlord, schwetz, ramelle and heutau in the rotation.

Overlord isn't exactly on the top of my list either. But for whatever reason it draws peeps to the server and the name of the game is to keep the server full if at all possible. Example last night server empty and I loaded overlord. 10 minutes later server close to max. Schwetz and ramelle come on and the players gradually starts to reduce. I had to leave for a while and when I came back it was empty again. Is zafod making peeps leave? So I loaded up overlord again and had the same result. Go figure.

One new map that I think is exceptional is Stuka. I would like to see that map as a selection to the possible choices, but not in regular rotation at this time.

I just did it again with overlord. Server mt and in minutes peeps started to come in. Loaded up overlord 3 maps in a row and the server was up to 20 peeps.

The more I play the map the more I am starting to like it. I understand the whole being pissed when you respawn as allies but that's part of the challenge. It does fill up an empty server quickly too. I have been in a couple of good games that went either way, usually the team I was on lost
