If I remember correctly, when TV4 was last in commission, there was also the grudge server. Is that server going to be coming back _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

i don't think it'll be coming back anytime soon, unless there's an overwhelming demand for it. as it is, let's try to fill up the other servers first.
giz, the grudge server hosted a mulch_dm map where sparring regs who talked-the-talk could go there to walk-the-walk against one another. once in a while, we'll host stuff like training maps ie tayconc etc. |

if i recall it also had tayconc in the rotation for a while, so you could go and practice concing without crowds of llamas (of course, that's what lan games are for) |

Yeah I suggested something like this a while ago. Not a full-blown private server though, just like one night a week it becomes a passworded server. |

I'd think that the grudge server wouldn't need much bandwith or processing power, couldn't someone set up a computer to run the grudge server at the same time as another server? |

Regarding bandwidth, all it really requires is a high-capacity DSL connection. Cable is nice, but the bandwidth isn't dedicated - it's a shared connection with everyone else in your node. Though if your lucky, like me you & live in BFE in the sticks then you dont have nething to worry bout it, From experince i have a 256k Cable connection and i can run a 12 person server where everyone is pingin in the lows 80's HLbooster helps alot also |

How fast of a computer would you need to be able to handle a mulch_dm server anyways? |

I'm not sure but not fast concerning server speeds, it is a small map and you wouldn't get many crowds |
