Packet Loss

I am now getting insane packet loss, at first I thought it was on only one server, but now I find it is on all servers. The only things that have changed are my phone line, my location in town, the modem is now connected to my computer instead of the family computer, and that I now have a 17 inch monitor. Tracerts don't show that anything should be causing packet loss to the servers, except for one server, but I don't think the path is the problem.

I don't have an answer for you, but I noticed I was getting quite a bit of packet loss last night.

I was on TV1, btw.

well i played on another server yesterday and had packet loss too.

I don't know what was up last night, but I played on several servers and had a problem. I don't know if it was packet loss, but it would actually suddenly jump back several frames, so when I thought I was firing a rocket out the door into the yard on acropolis2 (TV1) I actually would shoot the wall just beside it and kill myself. DOH!!!!!!!

Hmmm.

Almost like there was a small DoS attack going on, but I didn't hear anything about one.

Someone has got to have some kind of solution, even if it doesn't work, I would like to at least hear it.

This may not work, but you may want to try getting a lap dance. Lap dances solve everything!

Well, I now know it is definitely not TFC that is causing it. I could be anything from something corrupted in the UDP to the phone line that I am now on is terrible.
