Robert E. Lee has put together the sprites to do that, I dont know the details of how, but if you email him at rob@theville.org I am sure he will share the information with you.

I think it's hlstats. Not sure about the website but you could probably search for it.

As far as I know, Apache is a web server. It runs your HTTP and FTP systems. Basically your host system. HLstats on the other hand is a type of program that runs off Apache.

I'm not sure if this analogy is correct but think of Apache as your Operating System (such as Windows) and HLstats as your Application (MS Word, Half-Life, etc)

I'm fairly sure that TheVille runs off PHP, which is the technology that bridges the Stat database with the Web Interface that we can all see.

I thought Apache Web server was the web server application that you run off of Linux or Unix like Internet Information Server off NT 4.0 or 2000.

I just setup some of these things so....
Apache is web server software that runs off of unix or linux, it allows people to view web pages on your server.
the Ville uses HLstats (www.hlstats.org)
you can find more stats programs at http://server.counter-strike.net/tools.html
At that site you can find tons of stats programs, there are a bunch out there. HLstats is the best looking one I've seen but it requires you to install a lot of stuff on the server, like perl and some database stuff and blah... Another excellent looking one is psychostats which offers even more stats than hlstats, but I'm not sure on the requirments for that or if it will run on windows. If you want something simple, easy, and FAST I suggest faststats, it's what I'm running on my *amazing* pentium 200 cs server and it is DAMN fast. http://faststats.sourceforge.net/ is the website and it's damn good. They should have some sample sites, if not go to 63.69.179.208/faststats/ to check out mine

The thing I don't like about Psycho Stats is that there is no search .
