NS problem

When I try to connect to a server it disconnects me because I'm missing the shell.mdl?

Any help would be great ty!

yeah, that's happened to me a couple for times yugi, i thinks that why i stopped playing NS

there are 2 shell.mdl, you have shell.mdl that is for dmc and then you have pshell.mdl that is for ns.

so here you have a downloadd for the one for ns.

pshell.mdl

if you need it grab it cause after the weekend i will delete it from my server.

I already had that file.

It still doesn't work. I get the same error message.

I had also tried reinstalling it.

here is the shell.mdl file. but that one commes from dmc/models instead off ns/models.

Are you running the most current version of HL? Try dling NS again. Have you tried any other servers?

It works now.... I had to dl the server patch to get the shell.mdl from there.

Hey goose i have the same problem with not bein able to read the menu at all it comes up as a gumbled word mess in the top left corner any help would be apprecated i thinks its a video problem .. it sucked for awhile because i could never evolve or call for a medpack from my commander but i made some binds and now i just work around it but its still annoying as hell !

osiris: i had the same problem in the beginning. what videomode are you playing on??? I guess you are using software. The menu doesn't show in software mode. just try changing your video mode and it will probably work.

Yes ive changed my video mode to open GL but then things are really messed up like i cant see threw water and the game tends to freeze up on me prehaps ill try n find the lastest Open GL drivers thx for pointin me a step closer Cobra!
