Hello,
This morning I made a change on TV4. We configured and enabled paratrooper weapons and skins to be played on regular DOD maps. Now.. instead of picking a class you pick a weapon you will use in battle. Also the skins are different.. paratroopers!
There are not many servers out there with this configuration. And today the server was full most of the day. This also gives us an unique difference between tv4 and tv7.
Try it out when you get a chance. Post what you think! 
I happen to enjoy it. Hope you guys do also.

I had some problems as a sniper.
When i zoom i get a black screen of death (ouch)  .
I cant snip  what is it or is it mine.
Have Nivida 64mb, p4 2.5, XP, sound blaster audogy EAX, 1GB ram, 400mHz bus, i could go on ..but all is 6months new. I've never had problems before with any mod. when i returned to TV VII dod all was well again in the world.
Is it i just can't play on IV???

<cough> Maps suxor! No offense Bud, you remember before the map change that you kept a full house.I hate those maps  I need Avalanche and the other one that's on 7. Throw in what you will inbetween please ?

I had the same problem with my scope earlier tonight. But it only happened sometimes.

It is a Xp win 2000 bug. Check for service packs...I run win2k and the lates service pack corrected this...and I asume you run open gl for this mod

Guess you weren't on long enough. Avalanche and Caen2 are in the map rotation along with anzio. This was the rotation we had on the server before the map changes. And its been this way for the past week.
The message when entering the server tells you the rotation, the message of the day says the rotation and the server HAS the rotation. I really dont understand your post. Because the maps have been this way.

The scope thing is not just a WinXP bug. I had it happen to me (some spawns it happens some spawns it doesn't) and I am using Win98SE. My hardware config is different than DIH's too. (And yes everything is up to date AFAIK.)
Pondscum also had a problem with it tonight I think...

Using winxp here and all is fine. Ill try to look up some solutions for the scope probs.

i'm using ME and it happened to me once. but by the next respawn everything was solved.

yeah i did, except it was workgin fine for 2 spawnings, then ginda goes "hey my zoom doesnt work" so i check, and sure enough he messed mine up too! er the bug attacked me too! ;> i think it might be serverside becasue it happened all of a sudden, but i coudlnt say...thats the only time ive had that happen to me
