Unfortunatly I was not one of the lucky ones to get hold of the new Steam 2.0 and the new beta TFC, but I found some screenshots & it Looks cooL!

Ravelin

As you can see the map is very dark, a bit like Rock2, I havent had a chance to play it yet but its the gameplay is like that of Push in where you have to take your flag to capture point in the enemys base.

Steam will result in a monthly fee being payed to play. I dont mind paying a fair fee, but until all games charge, why would you pay for one when the rest are free?

Steam is nothing more than a load of STEAMY GAS COMING OUT OF A GOATS ASS.

Simply put, poor planning, poor application of technology, and greed.

I suggest you try it before making such harsh judgements. It's pretty good and I like it. Also, we will not have to pay for it at all, if you already own HL. That is just an option for people who want to buy it, but don't have the game.

Completely wrong. You pay a one time subscription fee per game. That's the same as buying a game in a store. Half-Life will be free if you already own it. Basically instead of buying a CD in a store, you go online and legally download it.

Steam is good. It was cool to see them put out two updates for CS about a week apart. Would be nice if that was normal, atleast for bug and exploit fixes.

Dahak wins.

All you have to do is find someplace or someone that has the install program and you can still get Steam.

So if I'm getting your meaning it would actually be more like a registration fee, rather than a subsription fee, right?
