Can we get the rules straight....

I would like to bring this up because I am sick and tired of it. Once in awhile I do swear when I write something down in game. I am tired of people telling me to watch my language. I do not spam it all over the place. But sometimes I say a swear. Most of us on these servers are old enough where we have heard these before. Not to mention the biggest thing. YOU HAVE SWEARS IN YOUR SOUND PACK!!! You mean to tell me its o.k. for the server to scream out What the F--k is going on here or Holy S--T. But we can type those words? Can we say double standard? If that is the rule I can live by it and I won't swear. But then take it out of your sound pack. And put it up in the rules otherwise deal with it. I am sick of being treated like I am 10 yrs old and people telling what to say. Make a rule and live by it. Don't make it o.k. sometimes and not others. It just makes people upset and confused.

As Far as I know you can say stuff like that. Just not in excess like that's all you know how to say. LIke that SouthPark Episode where they said Shit over and over. It made some dragon come out and start killing people. Anyways the moral was it's only funny or good if you use it in moderation. Also when it's not aimed at a particular person or your team. Those 2 sounds are exclaimations not directed at anyone. So use your best judgement.

Ok, in game I on occasion ask a person to "be nice", Thats usually when they are cursing at another player. I know that we all get into the game and sometimes frustration brings out the worst in us, but all I ask is that you respect your fellow players and always abide by rule 1. You dont remember what rule 1 says, let me refresh your memory. It reads dont be an asshole.

And if someone IS being an asshole, don't call them one. Report them to your friendly neighborhood admin in game, or get their name and WONid and report them later. Taking the high road is generally the best option.

Pretty strong reaction for just typing in "language" after just seeing a steady progression of F's and GD's and S's. It dosen't seem unreasonable to me to ask that everyone tone it down. If you feel your in school again then you must of heard this before. Just because your out of school dosen't give you the right to shout out what you want any old time you want to. Yes its in the sound pack and yes if you use that to much you will be kicked. It dosen't seem to be a problem of being used excessivly.
You might have thought I was speaking to you directly but I was not. It was in general to everyone. It is hard to stop and direct comments exactly when I would have liked to say them. So sometimes they come late and out of sync with what has transpired.
Actually I don't care what individuals say, it's when as a group we start getting to free with the cussing that I say something.

I thought that was exactly what the rule was. But over and over again if I say love in a sentence I get somone telling me to watch my language. Case in point.. I was playing on Ville V and I said and I quote. "I hate that fucking shit". I was talking about my own teamates shooting me to get flag at the begining of round. Now I was already playing for a little while. This was the first time I swore. And ofcourse our friendly admin Roofcutter told me to watch my language. I asked him how you can have swears in your sound pack but you can't say them yourselves. I don't remember his exact answer but it had something to do with wholesale. It confused me even more this is why I started this post. JohnDoe you are an admin so should I take your word for it that I can say these words as long as they are not spammed all over the place? Like that Southpark episode. Just like i said before if the rule is not to swear then I won't. But if we can please stop telling me watch my language. I already have one mother I don't need another...

Roof no offense but you directed at me. I was the only one who swore at that point and you didn't type language. You told me to WATCH my language. That is a big difference. Also I am way out of school. But since you brought it up. I didn't swear in school. Because the rule was not to. My teachers weren't yelling out swears. Then telling me that I couldn't. Which is what I seem to get here. The reason for this post is to find out if I am allowed to once in a while. I have never spammed anything not just sweara because I know its against the rules. You guys have a good server because you enforce the rules. I am glad to follow them I just want to know what the heck they are...

Well if that is the case roof. Then I owe you an apology. I didn't see you write that nor do I remember everyone cussing while we wear playing. Either way I was just using that as an example. I do get it from time to time from others. Roof I play alot with you so you should know I don't swear alot. But when I do. I don't want people telling me to watch my language. If I get out of control with it. By all means tell me to shutup or cool it. Like I said I have one mother and thats enough. Even though my girlfirend thinks she is one too.
