I tried DOD back when it was a new MOD and never had any problems. I am gonna try it again. I quit playing before because of the cheating going on. Now that it's on TV again I will give it another run. I will let you know if I have any problems with it however I don't forsee having any.

Only problem I'm having right now deals with reserved name. I changed it to my normal in game name and it says it is reserved. I know it has something to do with the Supporters thing. Besides that everything seems to be running normal .

Its not a conflict with XP its a conflict with your video drivers, update to the latest drivers and change from D3D to software or vice versa to see if that helps.

lol sorry i didn't specify earlier, it's HL that has the prob

i tried it earlier, and it said HL coudln't work wit my version of windows, and stated all thsi crap, so i gave up, and stuck to TFC and CS, whcih don't require HL (real game) to work.

well DoD (idk anymore) used to require HL to work, but i'll try DLing DoD again, the new one and see if it works

ss, haha u make me laugh #Fist

BRN, you need to set your password for this mod.

Take a look in your Halflife > DOD folder and open up autoexec.cfg.

Put this in there...

setinfo pw-home password
setinfo _pw-home password

Then you should be set. This goes for NS too, if you've tried that.
