Before you read this keep in mind that im not throwing accusations or anything, (I wasnt there) you seem like an alright guy for the most part. Also Im not an Admin, and will never be an Admin, so dont view these comments as official. im just a nobody who likes to play here giving my opinion. Ive also read the news post and have a couple of questions/comments about this whole debacle

#1. Untill the end of time good players will be accused of cheating, it happens. However, and i quote:
"Four Darkside members, Ancalagon, Wolfwood, PoBA, and I, recently traveled to a public server known as, "The Ville.org IV." While gaming, we were met with the usual amount of "Cheater" accusations. As always, these cries of "hax0ring" went, for the most part, unnoticed and/or laughed at."
Now my first question is since this happens to you frequently, what was so different this time that it needed a news story using the ville servers as the example?
#2 The actual title of the post was HACKED?, with a question mark meaning it was a question and not a statement. big difference in context.
#3 He (KRG) never brought up any names originally just a sceniero, and asked for some input. also if you noticed, the very next post attested to the fact that it didnt mean anyone was cheating and it in fact was probably "just a good shot".
#4 I think he (KRG) handled the situation very well, He even admitted that he could be wrong and didnt want to ruin a good clans name, I doubt you will find someone so graciously call into question your skills anywhere else.
#5 Quote: "do anything questionable and you might find yourself under allegations."
Killing people isnt questionable,its part of the game, and if your not cheating then you dont have anything to worry about. cheating or doing something the game wont allow under normal circumstances, would in fact be questionable.

To sum everything up,

Just as you do not like to have your name or clan tarnished, we here at the ville, dont either. In the beginning he never directly stated that you hacked or cheated, If he Had proof or otherwise all he would have done was post your name and WON ID for the Admins to mull over and make a decision, which he did not, Therefore Much like this whole deal in itself the whole posting you had (see #5) is a bit premature and gives us an image that we are all babies and whiners, which is hardly the case. We pride ourselves on the regulars, servers and quality of gameplay here. If your really that good then come play often and let your skills speak for you. your not going to be kicked or banned without proof . The reason you ran into any problem in the first place is because no one knew you or your skill. therefore people become weary at first. Once you establish yourself and people find out how good you really are then the only people to accuse you are the NOOBs and the server journeymen.. I dont know of any regulars here that arent really good people to play with. Come play here for a while, play often and enjoy it like we do, and maybe teach/learn a thing or two, everyone loves a good challenge. You 2 guys should just
go and mulch it out to get this all out of your systems.

Try the servers besides 4 as well. You joked about 5 and how fast you left it when you saw the players there.

(I'm now speaking directly to the members of [Darkside] as Snaggletooth[UW], an ordinary citizen of The Ville. The following does not reflect the feelings of <TVB> in any way.)

You guys own on TV 4 because frankly, many of the regulars here don't care for Badlands being in the lineup, and others prefer not to play with you guys. I enjoy the challenge, but you must keep in mind these servers are the only TFC home for many of us at The Ville. And we don't take kindly to a bunch of *elite* players swarming in and decimating the citizens here. Your clan plays well together, I'd expect that from a clan of your supposed calibre. But, you load one team up and then hunt in pairs. While it's not against the rules here, it's often frowned upon as a general rule. As you mentioned, this is a public server, so I ask formally that you refrain from ordering people around on these *public* servers. You want to boss people around and tell them to get off *your* team, fine. Do it on your own servers, not here. You are guests here like the rest of us.

Personally, I'd like to see how you guys do on TV 1 with a server full of our regulars.

yeh i dont know if someone can be "too good", but if they are "too good", you can always find a place where there are other "too gooders" who are in it for some hardcore playing..

Well, I have personally played with most of the darkside peeps since "cheatergate". LOL As long as it's all in good fun.

And just to add one final blah to this post;
Emperor, I'm not sure if you took the time to see what forum this post is under. I posted it in the "F.A.Q." section of the forums. I did this to ask a simple question not to bombard anyone with accusations of cheating. All in all I do not believe you handled the situation any better than I did. (meaning the post on your site and how one sided it really is)

At least here, you are encouraged to speak your peace and tell your side of the story. You were not blasted on the front page of the WEBSITE with your clan tag an all waving in the wind. I guess that shows how fair this place really is to everyone.

That being said, I have no hard feelings toward any of you.
