Well, exceptions can be made for things that spatter. I'm thinking mostly, sandwhichs, stews, soups, grilled things (like steaks n burgers with an apron).

nein... just 5 am is too early in the morning to be dressed prior to a shower, and one must eat before a shower.... and one must shower prior to work.... so... yeah.
