fyi ALL custom sprites, models, and sounds are illegal in league play (except xhair)
not that i mind, or that it really matters. i dont wanna hear any more accusations of cheating from all of you sprite hackers, though

Aye, but we're pubbers. 
Good point though, if anyone does compete in leagues it's mandatory to go defeault minus the official crosshair pack that Rizzo posted recently (I like the larger green dot for rifles and green x-hair for autos).
People really shouldn't accuse Rizzo of hacking. People that play in leagues (like Rizzo, plays in CAL-M) against other extremely skilled players usually don't even play in pubs because they get banned in a hurry for "hacking". Keep that in mind when players of this calibre are playing with you, it's best to try to learn something from them instead of hating on them. There are things that you simply can't learn in pubs, so when you see them it seems so out of the ordinary that you assume they're cheating.
Anyone from a clan that competes in a CAL league is most likely not cheating. I'd say there's less of a danger of them hacking than your average pubber. The most experienced admins spec those guys to hell and back. Most clans turn in players if they're discovered hacking. I read at Gotfrag (when I was checking our flames ) that a clan from CAL-M found one of their players hacking in a pub. He never hacked in a league match ever, but the clan turned him in and he was banned from the league for a year. Hmm. |

Someday I imagine I will. I do too many stupid things and miss too many easy shots for the time being, if I was letting teammates down by doing that I'd feel like crap. I dunno, there's a lot I've gotta learn before I get serious about it methinks. I'd like to partake in scrims and stuff though, finishing under 1.00 K D and trying like hell not to would be cool.
But for now I just play for fun and try to figure out as many things as I go along. |
