aaww w00t, viva las vegas. I'm supposed to go sometime this summer already.. I was just there in December, maybe I can make it out for this, it would be fun!

It's really cool to put a face to the name you see everyday. You also get a different perspective on things when you realize who is on the other side of the monitor

FYI, for everyone planning to be in or near Vegas the weekend of the bash - the world-famous Def Con convention is going to be in Vegas that weekend at the Alexis Park Hotel, which is about 3 blocks off the strip. The Alexis Park is a non-gambling hotel so people 18 and up can get in. Def Con has been the de facto hacking "underground" convention for the last 10 years, it's a serious geek convention with people that can party too. Note that I am not affiliated with Def Con, I am just trying my damnedest to get my company to send me again!
