In my case, it is not that I don't like them, it is just that I find them completly useless on some maps, like Acropolis. Snipers will get one concing medic out of the 3-4 that pass over, while a soldier or sg would have got 2 or 3 by waiting in the FR entrances.
So far what I found effective on Acrop as defense is a demo piping the flag, with a sg and its engy, and a soldier. If these guys are sniping, well forget the Defense
