Hey Ghanga,
I liked Asherons Call.. But I been in the same guild for years and only a couple friends went to AC. They also were on Thistledown and I wanted to play on Darktide. (Wanted some PVP). So.. it got old fast and I never really got into the game.
EQ.. you are right about it. EQ gets very boring once you reach the high level game. You build your character all the way up to fight the enviroment. There is no PVP, so eventually you get tired of fighting high level dragons and mobs. It sucks when someone calls you every name in the book, takes your kills, etc.. and you can't stick a sword in his side or blast him away with a spell. You have to take it or page a GM to sort out your differences.
Dark Age of camelot will have player vs. player and so will Shadowbane. I can't wait.

STARCRAFT BROODWARS KICKS A$$!
Oh sorry. I started out with Starcraft and there has been nothing like it since. I've dabbled in a lot of games but honestly, they are just shoot 'em up games with out a lot of stradegy. Team play is important but how many games do you know of that you can drop ship a reaver and a dark archon in the back of someones base and wreck havoc? This is the only game I've played that pure mass doesn't necessarily win you the war.
AOE is OK but still not much in the way of stradegy, just quick builds and rush in to kill. First person to Imperial usually wins |

When not TFCing, I actually like to play card games and board games online. It's a nice change of pace from the intensity of the Ville. Back in the days of 2400 baud modems, I'd play BBS chess, which was essentially chess by e-mail. You'd get to ponder your next move for a couple of days if your opponent had the patience. And I'd still get slaughtered.
I've also dabbled in Starcraft, the Diablos, the Quakes, and my beloved Warcraft II.
