Wouldn't nuking them kill all the people as well? That would kind of defeat the purpose of stopping them in the first place... _________________

You mean you would actually ask for your money back, even after having watched Tom Cruise cry? Where's your compassion, man? What about the scene where the land walker was trying to suck him up through one of it's butt holes, only to suffer from a little hemorroidal action from a couple gernades? And the little girl watching all the dead bodies floating down the river? Just think, if ya hadnt went to see it, you would have missed out on all that.. _________________ "I Cant HEAR YOU"

Like all fictional movies, the plot is far from perfect. I think it was a very entertaining movie that is best seen in a theater. _________________

I watched it this weekend:
Special effects -- very good.
Character development -- weak!
Credibility - Streched - all electronics stop working XCEPT one video camera? Only one person in the city was able to get a single car working again. NOT!
Reason for Cruise to kill the crazy guy -- insufficient & VERY disturbing!
Overall - OK movie but I agree Spielberg could have done much better. _________________
