They never went away really.
The titles under people's names went away. You no longer earn anything from posting. It just caused people to spam endlessly after signing up so they could achieve a higher level. Dropping that has cut down on the amount of spam tremendously.
That and blatently spammy posts are now moved or deleted.
Most of the people with high posts counts are either in groups with hidden forums at The Ville (ie USV - TVB - Admins), have been here for years, or are simply spammers (ie Blue & ROOF).

If I may step out of myself a little...The ROOFCUTTER does not spam... He is not a poster of posts that did not directly respond to the thread...unlike others who respond in a thread about spam and then gets all serious. Now lets get it together and move on...
