PWG vs NSA

speaking of clans and such, does the LB have a website yet? I haven't really asked anyone since ghanj asked me to put the LB after my name. I would be up for a clan match but I work strange hours and sometimes don't get online until after midnight eastern time most nights. Weekends are out because of a second job, blah, blah blah. I know it sounds excusey (Is excusey a word?) but if I am around I hope to make a good showing of myself for the LB.

A clan unorganized is a clan that will go the route of a shooting star. You have to build slow and steady to have a successful clan. I saw the same thing happen in Everquest. If you can contact each other and keep the ego's in check. You'll be fine. If not, you'll be gone just as fast as you got here. I hope the same doesn't happen to NSA. Otherwise There'll be some un clanned players for me to scout.

Well, I have had some reservations about being a part of NSA lately as well and I am actively searching for a new clan. I certainly don't have a problem with anyone in NSA personally, just the whole thing. My only interest in joining a clan is to play in matches of some sort on STA or OGL. Otherwise why bother?

I'm not going to pin all of the blame on Maian. I should have done some more investigation before I joined. I wouldn't be opposed to helping to get things going "for real" but I have no interest in building or maintaining a website, sorry. It's too much like what I do for a living ƒº.

If it came down to kicking in a few bucks a month to help maintain a clan server that would be ok. (Which reminds me, I need to do that here.) I'm getting a little ahead of myself with that though. Someone want to step up and get this clan going for real?

I'm the same as Axis. I'm looking to play TFC in a true TEAM environment where everyone understands how to work together to win. I love when someone does something simple like drop some ammo when I'm and engie or shoots me as a spy check (of course I also love pretending to be a sniper and stabbing the HW in the back as they walk by). Sounds like a lot of us NSAers are on the exact same page. My whole reason for clanning was to be part of a regular team, working together for a common goal. Especially because I'm a strategic player, not a gunslinger.

It seems like a lot of us had higher expectations for this, and Maian is a little overwhelmed trying to deliver on them. I'd like to help get it together as much as everyone else, but I'm really just a newbie in a lot of ways. What we need is someone more experienced to point us in the right direction. Any experienced clanners out there willing to give us a hand?

Thanks for understanding guys. I pulled NSA together single handedly. Now, Im totally mixed up. Ive got people leaving as fast as they entered. And I relly didnt want to have a clan battle, mainly cause of what it takes to organize, but a lot of people started asking "when are we gonna battle PWG?" So I had to ive in. And for all of you out there who think NSA is on the way out, youre wrong. So far no one has come foward, but today, Cycomom (bless her) has talod me that she can make us a website, which will help our organization greatly. Look for more to come on this subject. And continue to spread the word about the battle!!!!!!

Hey Maian I will try to email you as well but just in case. I will try to get some web space and get a serverup and going. One of my companies has a 100MB POP in Dallas which I am sure that we can use T1s worth of it, maybe for a fee. I don't know how to do web pages yet since it is not my thing, but if somebody does, have them email me. I will need help in getting parts for a server I am not a rich man, but i think all I need is a case, Motherboard and more PC133 memory. bmcbride52@hotmail.com. and yes I will be giving to The Ville soon enough.

Guys, we are getting more organized. Cycomom said that she is going to try to make a website for us, that way, we have communication. And thanks Pornstar. As for those of you who wanted to play matches: Since we play on The Ville, how can we play matches. I told you, were based here, and are rivals of the PWG. If you didnt know this from your recruition, then when did you figure it out. I mean PWG isnt in a ladder match, or I dont think so anyway. So Im sorry to lose you all. If you ever want to, Please come back to NSA!
