Yes, it is a new thread. I said I *rarely* start new threads. Not that I don't ever. 
And, no, it was not designed to be spammed. It was very seriously done to make some of the spammers realize that spamming for spam's sake is not cute.
And, Yes, JD, which gun?  
And, to your other post... that was off topic... but I guess it needed to be said. And what better time to say it? It didn't really take the thread off topic... so I guess it is okay. Not spam at all.

I've been expecting this for a while now - a discussion about acceptable/unacceptable forms of spam. It's always a bit crap when something, which you could always do at your discretion, has to be put into specific rules and regulations. Let's hope that the less enjoyable spam dies down a good bit, and the light-hearted, less-annoying stuff makes it's regular, but not overwhelmingly so, appearance.
Last night just pi$$ed me off.

I almost get the feeling that this thread is pointed at me. And only because of a one day thing where I was really mad at my connection and didn't even want to try to get into half life.

you know the best way that u can to graceful spamming on the forums Hoax this i can agree to.. and for my experience if learning it the hard the way i will look and or browser before entering a spamming zone??
Hoax you are a great forum poster in the ville and i wish u luck in catching up to roofcutter.. i wish u all the best on this thursday and you have a grand day
on the form of editing how many time should it be done hoax that is my question for u?? is 1 or 12 times to many to edit and bring down the amount of time u put into a writing?? what are the terms for myself in graceful spamming
 eyes in this thinking process hmmm and they be  popping for an interesting answer???? |

we were talkin about this in USV, and i think some of the other villuns could stand to learn how spam should be done - and was done in the good ole days (i.e. way before me).
also, we miss hoaxie. |

If there are rules and edicates to spam, how is it spam at all? The spam I get in my mail does not follow any rules. |
