Check your settings then. If you have Treble and Bass controls try turning those down and see if it helps. That's where my problems were with mine. Everytime I changed it though it would reset to where it was when I turned my computer off. Just another thing to check. _________________

It is still not working, but now it is freezing on me too and the only way to get out of it is to hit the reset button. _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

Make sure your OS is up to date with all released Service Packs. When you add new hardware to an exisiting system you should always reapply the latest Service Packs available for your OS. This may fix your problem.
Also check the Half-Life readme file for any hints they may have. _________________
