I would love too have anything out there.

I have, acording to the properties
an ATI 3D Rage Pro (atir3) thing that's 8MB.

I get 7-10FPS with it, and everything is blurry, I can't see in water either.

I just use software mode anyway...

I dont know Thom about being better but it is more fun. I play on Killers and mine and with the G3 against an old G400 there is a world of difference. I think not enyoying a slide show during the heavy gibs and explosion parts of the game is worth the price of admission. Although the G4oo other than that works alright.

The G4oo matrox is a better card all around though. it does dual head and dvd very nice. The G3 does not have dual head. it does DVD pretty good.
If I did not play games I would put the G400 matrox back in my machine.

Did i metion my primary machine is a voodoo 3 16 mb card on a celeron 400 I am to lazy to make my server my prim gaming machine. It is just too fast for a srunk medic.

Besides ply on an old tweaked gaming machine gives you perspective

I run at 1152x864 on opengl. I need to try the next setting up but with the prior drivers I had it wouldnt work right. Damn ATI drivers anyway. Im just glad I found these drivers I have now. They look sooooo good at this res. BTW Pond, did you see my fix for the ATI, set your ati_npatch to 0. I got about 20-30 fps just by doing that. You will find that in your config.cfg in the TFC directory.

I have 64mb GeForce3 Ti200. You know one of it's drivers caused a blue screen crash if I tried to reenter a TFC server, or goto another one, without first exiting TFC. I put new drivers on today from nVidia's site and it sorted it. Moreover, it put an extra 100+ onto 3DMark 2001

I would like a GeForce4 Ti with 128MB RAM, a rare card I would like to see is the Voodoo 5 6000 or something like that. It had 5 GPU's and 128MB of RAM long before the others. It was never released though because 3dfx went in the hole. A few engineering models are circulating and one was recently sold for $2000.
