Check the properties of the DoD link and be sure it is pointing to the correct directory. It might default to half-life or something. You can always do a find on hl.exe and put that path in the link properties.

Alright, here is an update, I clicked on properties, and then the target was : C:SierraCounter-Strikedodhl.exe -console -game dod
Then I clicked OK and it said that there was no such thing as hl.exe, so I went to find files/folders, and I clicked on hl.exe, and there was no such thing.
So, now, I have no idea what to do....

I'm not sure, as I own HL GOTY. But could it be cs.exe instead, as technically hl.exe isn't really there? One way to check this is to go to your Sierra folder and see what the file name is that opens the CS/TFC GUI.

Not to show Roof up, but it's Graphical User Interface. It's what you use to access a game from a CS or TFC shortcut (C:/Sierra/Half-Life/TFC)

Hey OmegaSiN since you have cs like i do you have change hl.exe to cstrike.exe for example my target under the properties of the shortcut looks like this:
C:SierraCounter-Strikecstrike.exe -console -game dod -heapsize 128000
The heapsize128000 is explained in my other post (DoD overflow and TryAlloc Fix)
