I hope voice spammers will be banned and kicked because I wouldn't want to play while some 10 year old shmuck thinks it's funny to disrupt communication with obsenities. Sure, we could mute them, but then they are now a liability to the team because of a lack of communication. Because of this, I fear that a lot of public servers will become private.

LOL roof sorry i took so long. People from california don't have much of an accent. Also, I think it'd be funny to hear eachothers voices, especially since i'm only 16 and my voice is VERY low for my age and i sound like i'm mumbling all the time.

Hey Rob, will the TV servers offer a proxy server of sorts so that we can utilize the new spectator mode? Not sure how that works or if its even necessary. But the rumors say that a proxy server would allow hundreds of spectators to watch a match. That would be nice.

As for voice comms... hopefully they will be proximity based so that you can only hear the people standing around you. This would cut down on voice spam and useless chat since not everyone would hear it. Plus you will have more of a chance to mute people because I believe there is a HUD icon that shows the speakers name. And I'm pretty sure you can only hear your own team mates.

Doesn't the server limit the bandwidth offered to any one player anyway? I've always thought that ping and cpu limitations had more impact on performance. I really couldn't tell that much difference when I went from dialup to DLS as far as in-game performance. I had pretty similar pings with dialup, maybe because I lived really close to my ISP.

Please believe me that I have used some bad language , just ask The Mayor, but I try not to use it online. And I don't appreciate hearing, much less seeing someone take the time to type it out. It is totally immature. Remember this is Team Play First. The voice option should really help team play. Let's hope.

Ya, Im not too crazy about this new patch either. Mainly because with us 56k'ers, it takes hours to download. Plus, on this new microphone I bought, my voice sounds all crackly, like its changing. I am 15, and my voice does sound wierd, but not that bad, I can hear it on my headphones. Even my mom and sister know my voice isnt that bad. Oh, and I dont have an accent either. Im from Texas, and everyone expects for me too sound like a hill billie or something. And when they learn Im right next to mexico, and Im Hispanic, they expect me to sound like a stereotype, which I'm not. So I guess it will be nice to let you guys hear me, and I hear you.
