One big hoax,

I have long held the unofficial position of "worst" sniper at the Ville. I have been "honored" many times by regulars for my sniping prowess. (Technically by "honored" I mean ridiculed.)

I have never said that I don't think it takes any skill to be a sniper. I know it does. But I still HATE THEM! Nothing gives me more satisfaction than killing a sniper.

When I worked hard all week for the 28 weapons club (before NEO), it was the headshot that I found so elusive. It was harder for me than a caltrop kill. And when I play random, it is normal when I get sniper to have a lot more kills with the autorifle than the sniper rifle. If only that autorifle held more bullets, I might stand a chance with that class.

So, good luck on your sniper training. Its only a matter of time (approx. five to ten minutes of practice) and you will have surpassed me. It's not much, but its something to aim for

I too hate people that bash all snipers (snipers suck). I mean, it really requires a lot of skill (no it doesn't) to snipe people. They are always helping the team (hiding cowards) whenever they can. I have gone up against some extremely good snipers (no talent hacks) here at TheVille. I enjoy seeing snipers (would rather see Llamas) in games. So good luck (hope you die alot) to you in your quest to improve your sniping (hiding,camping) skills!

OMG!! ROFLMA, KRG.

I haven't laughed so hard since I opened up the blue cow (which now electrifyingly <is that a word?> serves as my wallpaper).

Thanks to everyone for the tips and encouragement. I hate snipers too, but everyone hates my role too (HW Guy).

And I hate medics and engies and...

But I said it once in a game and I'll say it again...

Everyone seems to hate at least one character in the game... so let's take out all the hated ones and we'll be left with.... Nothing! Now how fun would that be?!

Krayonz I will have trouble with, but snipe shocker and mulisha, I can deal with them. Krayonz and Eagleyes are teh only snipers that will give me troubles. Oh yeah, those girl snipers: Cassandra and Samantha, and Kurai Yume will also give me a lot of trouble too, even as spy.

You might try Knightsnipe on Girlpower 1 server...2 teams, all snipers, low to high places to snipe from, low ping which is good for a sniper...my reflexes are so slow I usually go to autorifle and attack with it and grenades so I dont get shutout...I would stay away from trying to learn sniper on Girlpower 2, low ping but so much extra crap its distracting...

I've played sniper for a loooong time. The one thing I noticed is that snipers always have a target on their head. I've seen people stop firing upon one person, just to frag a sniper. Gotta feel the love

Ahhhh.......the old days when I was a sniper....ahhhhhh.........

Nah, I hate going against a good sniper, he always aims for me...

I played against Spanish Warpig once ( 1 on 1 sniping on 2 fort )

I think my score was about 2 - 85 or something?!?!

He's a great sniper, he taught me how to snipe actually...
