well what about this idea, how about we make a ville team, and whenever we can, we'll do friendly scrims vs other clans, 100% scrims only. it would spice things up here at the ville i think. Think about it, guilds united, playing as a team wearing the same tag, representing the best of the ville, having supa tons of fun, we could even have a team for 1.3 and a team for source, and i dont think it would be too complicated to keep it organised. So what do you think gents?

i dind't play in it at the time and i vaguely remember it. but were the teams self-assembled or was it a player drawing wrap around style?

i would definitely be interested in playing. scrims are tons of fun more fun than matches, in my opinion. and you don't have to worry about scheduling and stuff...
i used to run a couple different CS clans way back in the day, so i know the ropes a bit. i'd be more than happy to help with the coordination.

In the first season the teams were self assembled and the "champions" never even came close to losing a match. To prevent the second season from becoming exactly like first, it was changed to a team draft format. Ideally this would even the skill level so all matches would be fun. Unfortunately with this method people felt no loyalty to their team and subsequently didn't show up, and the members of losing teams cried about having been drafted to that team. In the end it was a lose-lose situation, although I definitely had some great times playing in TVL

the draft format sounds good, if loyalty and not showing up is an issue i think we have enough skilled players at the ville to replace those that cant show up, i think some form of competiveness would be fun!

i think that a competetive clan would be really fun but some of you do not understand how difficult it is to actually keep a clan 2gether...ive been in numerous clans and they all never work out cause of lack of leadership and the time constraints a clan actually has. To be a good clan you need to practice insane amounts with each other on each map to figure out exactly what you are gonna do everytime in order for you to win. Then once you figure this out you hafta PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE...this is just too much for the average gamer.

But i would be interested in some scrimages or something...especially if i can kill FROSTY cause it's just soo much fun doing so

Thats why im sugesting a scrim only team, a scrim team wont be too hard to manage, we'll just need to start geting some volunteers to organize, anyone?
