DOD crashing since DOD:S released.

hmmm...how do you change the resolution BEFORE going into teh game?

Before in game on a server? just double click on My Games DOD:S but I think you mean prior to even that, and I am not sure

Like Candian rifle said if all else fails. Delete steam completely and reinstall it. If this does not work then it probably is not steam.

nothing. still no DOD for mUj0. what makes me mad, it affects all HL1 engine games. not just DoD. oh well...the good news is that last night my computer stopped. woke up, wouldnt turn on, so i got to finaly get a new case (my wife liked the little micro ATX that had NO air flow). I got an Antec with a 350 Watt PSU. quiet too! oh well, I guess i'll go back to the Steam forums and search some more.

Can you get it to start a game without going into the server? Like play games them DoD without entering a server. If you can get into there you can look into console to see what the error is. You D/L the latest video drivers correct that and sound drivers ? Another thing you might try is pulling out your ram restarting your computer without ram then shutting it down and putting it back in. I have my memory save settings on that would let me play HL games.

nope. any way i try to go into DOD doesnt work. I just transfered cases, so all my components were off the mobo and then added. so..i dont know what to do. i'll just keep emailing valve

Do you have anyone that is close to you that has STEAM a friend or what not. If so if you trust them or even if you can use there computer for a few minutes and they have STEAM logon to your account on there computer and see if it works. If not the Valve has done something to your account.

wELL.. none of my friends are gamerz like us leetz! lol. W00T! tEh mUj0 iz back!!!!! Nvidia released new Beta drivers..somehow i installed them and they worked! ALL hl1 engine games work again! mujo is back! all you villuns on VIlle IV watch out!
