Does Garrysmod take longer to load than half life 2 for everbody else?

Yes, the loading time is substantial. It's loading a ton of crap! My friend and I were joking about the size of gary's load. . . .nevermind, I won't go there.
You can also play gary's mod in the actual game. Funny stuff. The load time there is very long.

I think there are issues with joining other games in progress. I had a hell of a time actually getting into a game. It's not like you can actually fight or anything but you can play toss the bodies!  |
dont play multiplayer, just join from my games list and hit "new game" |
But multiplayer is fun!

I'm not using Gary's Mod, but I am working on a chariot driven by an Antlion Guard.
Having a sled driven by a team of Manhacks sounds fun, too...
