One more point I would like to add:
While lots of people like to blame bush for the problems around the world(and yes, some of them are his fault), you have to remember that alot of the others were brought about by the people who matter even more than the president: The Senate and House of Representatives. It was they, remember, who passed the legislation allowing for conflict in afghanistan and such, so censuring the president with the senate would just be hypocracy.
Please, don't make bush out to be a villain, he really isn't any worse than you or I, if you had press peering into every aspect of your life while leading the most powerful nation on earth, you'd come out lookin pretty bad too.

I just thank god we have a person like Bush in office after 9/11 rather than Gore or Kerry. Clinton, hard to say how he would of handled it, prob shoot a couple missiles around and say he tried.
Oh ya, and Bush will definitely get my vote. |

(begin democratic thought)....Lets ignore the problem even though thousands of lives could possibly be at stake, raise some taxes and grab an intern.(end democratic thought)
Oh wait...we already received the results of that attitude which was displayed by the Clinton administration through the amazing 8 year term of ignorance.
Yeah, we should have let all of these flinchy Europeans convince us to sit back and watch Saddam fester.....yeah, that would have been really good. |
GO CMON!!!!! I totally agree. Even though he may not have posed an immediate threat, he did harbor terrorists and pose a threat to the country. Now what that said I will pose this question: What would you rather have? A dictator that had the power and was fully capable of getting WMD through the underground market and Russia, or depose him and put in a government that all can agree on (which is still taking place). Read that. Bush did the right thing by getting rid of the Saddam threat. Now if Gore had been in office or anyone else for that fact, they would have raised taxes, sat in the office with their thumbs up their butts and let hundreds upon hundreds of innocent American lives be deviously destroyed. So all I have to say is, IT'S IN THE PAST!!!! GET OVER IT!!! MOVE ON AND WHINE ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE!!! _________________

The hell with it all, everyone run for president and then vote for the person underneath your name. That'll solve everything! No more whining about your country's leader!
I don't bother with political debates, they're not worth my time. The only thing I've got against Bush is getting rid of the Clean Air (And Water, but I'm not sure if it's all in one) Act. _________________ http://www.chronixradio.com |

This has been a point of discussion for me and my cousin:
are russia's WMDs secure? For instance I saw a report on DateLine that showed a compund that had fences with holes in it, minimal armed guards and the WMDs (gas and I beleve that there were 20,000 supposedly but Im not sure) that were secured by a padlock on one rusty door... It was all video footage, they werent allowed to say where it was or who was in control of the installation but they did show parts of the installation and I was highly unimpressed with the security...
I doubt that it was wrong, so I dunno. Are they really as insecure as people say? |
