I would imagine this was at night. So they probably couldn't see the Apache. Probably heard it, but not see it.

They probably didn't even hear it. When they hide they are very hard to detect. I would have wanted to be the first guy, he didn't even know what hit him. The others knew what was coming

I find it shocking that we as people find this sort of thing acceptable. Its disgusting and we should be ashamed of ourselves. Animals behave better than us.

Yes sometimes they are better then us but they arent exactly on the same level of inteligence as we are though. We arent like normal animals... We dont think, act or reproduce like normal animals. We drink milks for our entire lives, we go to an area populate and use up all the possible resources and then spread to another area and use all the resources up there, we kill each other - its been this way for practically as long as humans have exisited - in cold blood. We have no regard for life whatso ever. Its just like agent smith says in the matrix. In essence we are infact a mutant disease... One day well tick something off and it will wipe us all out. Or prehaps we will evolve past fighting amoungst ourselfs .

actually, if you think about it, we act just like animals on all sorts of occasions, killing being a prime example. Animals kill each other all the time, and it's not always over food. Female cheetahs will kill other females who encroach on their territory, just as an example. Elephants and rams will fight over the right to breed with certain females. Cats (and as far as I know, other felines), will kill their young if there is something wrong with it. Males who take of the leadership of a pack will often kill the young, thereby establishing the dominance of their genes. If you look at it logically, killing is one of the more animalistic things we do, therefore to say they are better because they don't find killing acceptable is not quite true. If you wanted to take the argument even further and state that plants are better because they don't condone killing, well, you'd still be not quite accurate. Just look at the Japanese kudzu which is taking over many forests in the South, killing all the trees it grows on.

Isnt it all balanced though? Unless something such as the kudzu that doesnt natrually belong there and changes the balance of the area. I doubt that a few select cheetahs will go on a killing rampage and kill thousands of other cheetahs in months time...

Sounds like the Mexican Juniper Tree here in Texas. Its damn big a$$ weed. Killing off all the big oak type trees. I think what BR was aiming at, was the "OH Cool!" comments. No its not cool to take somebody elses life, but sadly it's necessary at times.

Exactly, and in this case it's them or us. And it's incredible to see the power of it. They were militaristic, innocent people is a different matter, but I came here with a simple dream. A dream of killing all humans. And this is how it must end? Who's the real 7 billion ton robot monster here? Not I, not I..
