VOTE : Fade to black or Death Cam

I think we know this is a game BRN...if this was another forum on a different board then i would start to question people's sense of reality and fiction, but not here on the ville. As for people to start feeling pain...sure why not negative re-enforcement and perhaps we wont die as much and be more careful

im just joking..don't be silly

Personally i hate the black screen too BRN...but it also gives me a reason not to die as much, it also gives me a way to calm down after being sniped, it also gives me a minute to clear my head and think which way not to go and to go, and like ive said countless times i put up the map in the right hand corner to entertain myself, also i normally have something to read or listen to sitting next to me. As for your comment of waiting 16 seconds ive never had that problem the most i have had to wait is 10 seconds and i consider that to be not that big of deal. I just like the mysterious aspect that the black screen brings to the game. Yes it is more realistic and no in life we don't get to respawn unless you believe in rencarnation in which case we do get to respawn into something else but eh it is respawning.

keep it fade to black. most of the time you can figure out where the person who shot you was. Plus the black screen is just as boring as watching someone else play!

And to you guys not wanting to wait 10 secs...well, not sure about you, but I only get the ten second wait about every 5 deaths or so. Most of the time when I die there's only a 2-5 second wait, which passes by really quickly.

Oh, and another way to pass the time: be careful and don't die!

I say keep the fade to black!

That would stop the boring black screen comments and prevent the dead from easily finding the living.

Really shocky the arguement is that in this new mod of DOD once you die you see for 3-5 seconds exactly where you were shot from including the player who shot you and pretty much the angle he shot you at then you go to a team mates view. I would have absolutely no problem with death cam if what i said above was taken away cause if i remember correctly when death cam was enabled on the new mod(not the old one) free roaming capability was gone and you could only follow or go in First Person mode as a ghost.

The original reason for it being changed to the black screen was because people didn't want their hiding spots reveiled when they killed someone. If it were put to the way that Shockwave is suggesting then I think that would be fine with me. Anything but the black screen.

And to those suggesting that you try harder not to get killed, come on!! I don't go out intending to get killed. It's something that is a part of the game. Having to look at the black screen is just a reason for people to stop playing the game.

Sheesh, 10 seconds!!!!! that would be frickn' great, many times I wait 15 -20 seconds. I'm almost positive it is some conspiracy involving shocky and powder to keep my ultra-dangerous skills off the battlefield as long as they can. Anyway, before they redid DOD I could just look on at the entire map and see where all the enemy were hiding including the one that just shot me, and I can still (if I ever feel the need) go to spectator mode and find exactly where you are. Get rid of the black screen of death, its bad for my eyesight!!
