This is in no way officially endorsed by the moderators here at the Ville.

Let's get real people. The frivilous posting of spam and off topic comments has reached an all time high. I don't want to be known as the Forum-Nazi, but I hate to see a good topic get lost in all the good natured spam. Can we please try to keep the side discussions to a minimum. Or, at least contribute to the main topic along with your off topic comment. There are tons and tons of spam related posts in the forums vault. Don't get me wrong, I'm not innocent but I try to keep it from going off on a tangent as much as possible. I just think theres a time and a place for chaos, like FUN NIGHT!

however, do have to say - in my opinion

boring

How often in real life does a conversation take an right turn off on a tangent sometimes back again and sometime become something much more interesting - to then move that to another thread kinda kills the conversation element

However that is just my humble opinion

I agree with your point about "boring" but sometimes the off topic stuff gets boring too. I would never expect someone to start a whole new thread to post a simple reply, but there's gotta be some kind of happy medium. I get a little frustrated when people use these threads for "chatting". I love everyone here (even Shuya) and your funny comments. I just want people to exercise a little courtesy to the person who initiated the topic. As soon as it becomes a "chat" thread, it looses it's credibilty as a topic to check on. That's all, I'm done! Thanks!
