Hey pretty interesting stuff. Heres some stuff on myself. Im 24 years old and just like frag, I live in the wonderful city that is Chicago. 103 in the summer -5 in the winter. ahh paradise. My three favorite things are Beer, women and computers, with a combination like that somethings bound to give . I Briefly attended western illinois university for one year before I partied too much and quit before I could flunk out. I now currently work for a Global benefits consulting firm called Hewitt Associates in the chicago suburb of lincolnshire, where I work as a desktop support tecnician. Im currently trying to figure out whether I should go back to school or just go and start getting certifications. I also live 8 blocks from wrigley field so I plan on spending most of my summer drunk watching baseball as much as work will allow. Im also a big starwars nerd and my favorite character is Grand Admiral Thrawn, fromt het Timothy Zahn trilogy of books that follow ROTJ, if you havent read them I Highly suggest you do as I believe it is as good if not better than the original IV, V and VI.

meh....

I'm 25 I think... I'm currently a student at some crappy generic school... I would be working but I can't find the time to get to a job considering watching the kid, goin to school, and spending the few precious hours I get to play on da ville

I use to like playing Magic: The Gathering untill all my friends became pricks... or just stopped playing. I listen to punk/ska style music with a bit of metal thrown in to keep me sane long enough to not wanna go kill someone... >

Games I like... other than TFC .. Grand Theft Auto 3... oh yeah... nothing like pickin up that.... and then beatin her for her money.... oh and Diablo 2 is kewl for killin schtuff with your friends...

I rarely watch TV but keep comedy central on while I kill you on da ville...

there... enjoy your little time to get to know me... >

Starting out I read all these posts from my 10' by 10' cubicle where I tell people they lost all there money to the stock market. And I also take a percentage and put in my backpocket, lol. I work with Mutual funds i am still in college, 19 year old studying computer science I like computers. I am a Boston native and by the way PATRIOTS ARE #1 for all you football fans. I am counting down the minutes till I get to go home and frag "villeians" and get my face splattered across the walls of avanti as well. I am a big fan of the murderball mondays. One thing I might be able to add to your gameplay is too set up your mp3's and listen while playing. For some reason It's a 4/1 kill ratio to death when Eye Of The Tiger comes on. (must be the adrenaline rush). Well I have an hour left to "piss peoples money away" (they say things alot worse over the phones). See you on the ville

I've been playing at the ville (avantiville) since July or so, but have not been active in the forums, though I do read them. My name is Mike, 35, and live in DC. I work in the international development field (aka humanitarian assistance) managing public health programs in Africa. Since 1989 I've been living in Central and West Africa, but moved back to the US about a year ago. Internet connections in Africa are pretty bad (12000 bps or less) and online was limited to games like chess and backgammon. So for 1st person shooters, those of us in rural Africa were limited to the single player games. First introduced to these games (Wolfenstein 3D) on a b&w laptop at a workshop on STDs in a small town in the middle of an equatorial forest in Central African Republic in 1994.

I enjoy playing at the ville and although I'm not very talkative while playing, I feel I've gotten to know a lot of you over the months. I look forward to dying at your hands during the months to come.

Just had to update mine again...I'm still me!
My company has slowed down recently so I'm on a couple of open timber homes, Lots of trusses and beams and even some huge pieces I'm cutting into arches. Yeah fun days ahead. It does a body good to stop supervising and get your hands on some POWER TOOLS! Jcom I'm thinking of you and your router, I've put about 4000lf on mine in the last 30 days. Nothing says sawdust pile more than manufacturing custom baseboard

Oh yeah San Diego Rocks!

Jcom I have the CyCo family picture in my archive folder...want to buy it

Wow, Teherdje! You win the award for most interesting career. So which is more frightening, the African rainforest or DC traffic?

No question about it. DC beats most of Africa by a long shot.

I dunno about DC traffic, but back in HS, we were there on a trip... a bunch of us llama high school kids accidentally took the subway to the wrong part of town... the station attendant said "Where you going kids?" we said "to wander around"... he said "any of you packing heat or got a brick in your pocket?"
us... "uh, no..."
him "get back on the train, boys"

Life is full of little learning experiences

Hello I'm 92, my name is Whoflungpoo, and live in a mansion with my hobo brother, Tiny Tim. I keep him caged up in a porta potty I stole from a construction yard. His life goal was to be the richest hobo in the world mackin in his Dodge Viper. He eats rabid animals for breakfast and sells viagra disguised as candy to unsuspecting children. I am a retired secret agent who James Bond is modeled after. I'm 7' 3" and 200 lbs. and my brother is 4' 4" at 300 lbs. I'm an Irish blonde who was brainwashed during Vietnam. I collect cheese and scabs. My hobbies are TFC, eating cheetos, shuffleboard, and hunt the commies. I've had 2 wives, one moved to Siberia, and the other is my current at age 25. I have my own dojo and swordfight with my trained Parrot. I spend most of my time watching movies and eating.

Okay....
I am a 37 year woman, with a 15 year son (who is a heavy console gamer and Half Lifer) and a 14 year old daughter who plays guitar. My number one love is being a mom!!
One of my fave mom things to do is to watch Toonami with my son for Dragon Ball Z. And my fave piece of clothing is my DBZ shirt.

I lived in Houston for 16 years, a graduate of The University of St. Thomas (BA in Psych). I actually quit school when I was 15, but decided when I was 25 to take the GED and start college. I had my two kids then and felt it was important.

I moved to CA...the Silicon Valley about 4 years ago. I lived in Mountain View and Fremont while I was there. I moved away about a year ago. I am now in FL, which is where I lived before I moved to TX.

I live with a wonderful man who I intend to marry...some day. He is heavy into Half Life. He runs a server and has a clan (which my son is also in). They really rock at it...I suck at it. I prefer the action of a full TFC server.

I have been playing for a couple of months now, though I don't get to play as often as I would like. Although I still have a long way to go, I have improved and the tips here have helped! Thanks.

I have a suck job that has very little to do with any of my talents, but it pays well, and I have an expensive habit.... I am a computer freak (geek).... upgrades, new software, blah blah blah...

The Ville is awesome. I love the overall patience and good will (funny to hear the phrase "good will" being used for a game of killing) that most of the regulars express. I have s lot of fun playing with you guys.

Okay, in case you haven't noticed, I tend to be very verbose... and on that note, I am shutting up now!!
