Kill to death ratios really don't tell alot because some guys stay at the back of the action and finish off everyone after they had gotten through like 11 other people, just so they look good. You should have a kills/ minute feature, I'd rather be 146-56 on avanti than 42-4, because hey, I'm helping my team more:)

True, I tend to die when I've taken on several of the other team and while I scramble to find a pack, I get taken out by some goofball who was sitting around by the pack waiting for someone to come. Then they gloat about how they pwned me, when in fact, I had no nades left, no armor and very little health.

Yeah, ditto on the fighting alot theme... seems like you're always running into NMEs when you're down to 52 health and 40% armor... The best is when you find a MEDIC! on your team, that just makes your day after fragging a couple of NMEs

Hmmm, I don't judge too much on K/D ratio either... myself I will often make myself right in the path of someone and get killed if it servers the Cause... euh the team

Warpath is the best exemple. As an engy, I will install my base the at the most advanced point, and then start moving forward to the next point to try to establish a new base there that will support my offense team. However then I get killed a lot more.

I like to frag, but I like to win even more...

I'll admit I am a better defencive player than offencive but every good team should have a balance. What good is attacking the church when you have a pesky medic running behind your lines infecting your team? Or the dreaded pyro flaming everyone? Someone must take care of them. Another example is when your team caps 2/4 on warpath, I am the first one running up to build an SG to defend that CP. This tactic is lost on a lot of engies and I see it all the time. Another thing I try to do as an offencive engie is repair my teamates armour and build dispensers. You wouldn't believe how many engies don't do this either. So it's really not fair to say I hang back just to get easy kills because there are many things that I do to help my team. TFC is not all about offence.

For lack of a better way to descibe that hardly anyone pwns me, I copyed and pasted my kill/death stats. Probebly not a fair way to describe it though. You are right about that.

i hate.. when on attacking the enemy base.. some of your teammates just stand there, blocking the doors NOT DOING A THING. when you attack.. you run forward, not stand there. that's why i basically run into every situation and die a lot.. but i also kill a lot too
