mine hangs all the time now. Took about 4 minutes from clicking on the icon to start steam, till it actually brought the window up. Thats quite impressive. |
I finally got it and am now waiting two hours while it downloads over all the files it copied from d:\sierra\half-life\dod.
If it was going to do this, why did it bother to copy the files? |

Give steam some time and work with it, make sure all of your files are in teh right place so steam knows where to find them. After figuring out that my files were in the worng place i moved them and steam works fine connecting to games. |

edit: Just checked my install, the files ARE in the directory.
So, uh, wtf still.
