Back in the day there was an Anime that I don't remember the name of. One of the races came from a very cold planet where they were really scientifically advanced. Anyway they learned to breathe nanites to aide them in doing things, specifically war. When they breathed the nanites out it was a fog that froze things. When a group of them got together the NaniteFog was a most devasting attack.
